I just wanted to reach out and share what a great experience we had working with Doug Howell on the financing for our new boat earlier this month.

To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I didn’t come to Sterling Associates through a referral, but I had read a few positive reviews on some boating message boards and decided to give the local Florida branch a call. Doug picked up, and right away I knew I was in good hands. He was straightforward and no-nonsense, which I really appreciated. From our first conversation, he clearly laid out the process, explained the numbers, and made sure I knew exactly what was needed from me at each step.

Doug was always quick to respond to both emails and phone calls, and nothing ever fell through the cracks. Even when he came down with the flu just before closing, his associate Kathryn stepped in seamlessly and kept everything on track.

This is our second boat, but the first time we’ve taken out a loan. If I had known the process would be this smooth, I probably would have used Sterling Associates the first time around. We’ll definitely be calling you again when it’s time for our next one.
